Our Burnaby Physiotherapy Clinic's ultimate goal for Joint Replacement Therapy is to ensure pain-free function of the replaced joint to improve the patient’s quality of life. Common joint replacements we treat are hip replacements and knee replacements. Postoperative rehabilitation is of the utmost importance. Exercise treatment to re-gain range of motion, along with strength will assist in a smooth transition. Gait training, as well as other daily functions can be worked on and improved. Progression will be gradual and individualized. Our hopes are that you will gain a new independence, become capable and strong and feel like dancing just like our lovely receptionist Maria!
